10/23-11/1 Scandinavia-Kronborg Castle, Helsingør

來到丹麥的第三天我們拜訪了在北邊的Helsingør
Helsingør與Helsingborg是間隔了松德海峽的兩個twin cities. 分隔在丹麥和瑞典兩地,兩個城市間只有不到4公里的距離,大型的渡船搭起來往兩個城市間的橋樑

陰雨濛濛的天氣在海邊尤其凍人
由於我們都走隨意路線,於是看到路邊的小市集就開心的湊了過去~有得看又有得避寒~~!!

明明是冷不轟東的天氣路邊總是有在賣冰淇淋的店,真的很怪呀!

發現丹麥的10元商店!!(其實等於台幣60塊多)
Chenelle買了大撲克我買了彩色鉛筆~ 超級划算的~~!!

整趟旅程的重點: Kronborg Castle出現了~



Kronborg Castle又稱做"Hamlet Castle"
因為Hamlet的故事背景就是設定在這座城堡裡
當時此處是丹麥貴族們盛行渡假的地方,Shakespear借了這座城堡的名氣做為他劇本的背景主題
奇妙的是,過了幾百年之後,這座城堡反而是因為Hamlet的故事而聲名大噪
兩方的角色互換了呢!!
"To be or not to be, that is the question;
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing, end them. To die, to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end

以前學英文,記得Brad還要我們背下這整段Hamlet的獨白
真的身處在這座城堡裡的時候,小時候的記憶都回來了呢!

城堡的宴會廳,配上地板的花色,視覺上好迷幻

替我們講解的是一位帶著濃濃英國腔英文的媽媽
有著極誇張,很像要演舞台劇的肢體表現,配上她像博物館導覽語音一般的聲音和語氣
我們都被他唬得一愣一愣的
例如在這個小房間裡,她就非常dramatic的說"This is exactly the place where the ghost of Hamlet's father showed up~ Look~~ THIS is the place!!!!"
不知道是因為那天是陰天還是城堡太陰暗,我真的覺得還滿spooky的.....
這幅畫的重點是圖中間背景有一座小城堡,那就是Kronborg Castle喔
丹麥國王下令畫這幅畫,除了要表現丹麥強大的國威以外,也可以看出Kronborg Castle在歷史上有她舉足輕重的重要戰略地位
隔著海峽的另一邊就是瑞典囉~~

在這個城堡裡有好多可以看的東西
不知道為什麼,也許是我小時候花了三四個月讀Hamlet,來到這個地方,心裡默默得覺得很感動也很戰戰兢兢,是種很熟悉的感覺~
And I truly truly realize the importance of knowing a place and its story before you take your step to visit. By this way, at least for me, thus i can feel the sensation and magic conveyed by the place.

回哥本哈根之前,我們找到了這家丹麥之小珍珍!!
The yarns there are just soooooooooo magical it's beyond description!!!!!!
i had to drag myself out of this "Dangerous little shop" before i dump big money in it!!
Oh gosh~ It reminded me of lambspun in Ft. Collins and I suddenly miss Ann sooo much~
